No. This UK course has no video or practical assessment. Learn free, pass the free online test, and buy the optional £18 PDF certificate if you need one.
Is the whole course really free?
Yes. All four learning modules and the final online test are free. You can see your test score without paying. A certificate is not included in the free option.
What does the optional £18 payment cover?
It covers your PDF completion certificate, issued after you pass the online test. There is no video, no practical assessment and no subscription.
Do I need an account or payment card to learn?
No. You can study the modules and take the free online test without creating an account or entering card details. An account is needed if you choose the paid certificate option.
Do I need to record a video?
No. On this UK course there is no video or practical assessment. The learning modules and online test are free; the optional £18 certificate is issued after you pass the test.
Will my employer accept this certificate?
Acceptance depends on your employer and the tasks you do. If you need training for a specific job, check with your employer before buying. This course does not replace task-specific instruction at work.
How long is the certificate valid for?
Your certificate is valid for 3 years. Your employer may require refresher training sooner if your work or equipment changes.
When do I get my certificate?
If you choose the paid certificate option, pass the online test and complete payment. You can then download your PDF certificate from your account.
When is my certificate available?
Your certificate is available in your account straight after payment.
What if I need another try?
You can retake the free online test as often as you need. There is no extra fee.
Can I do the whole thing on my phone?
Yes. The lessons, the online test and your certificate all work on a phone.

Patient handling, heavy or awkward loads and higher-risk work may need additional task-specific, in-person training. A certificate does not replace a workplace risk assessment.
